Toronto, Ontario - Hosts: Imagine Canada & the Toronto Community FoundationMay 27, 2005On Friday, May 27th, Vartana presented at a session hosted by Imagine Canada and the Toronto Community Foundation. Over 50 people representing a wide range of Toronto-based non-profit organizations attended the session. Vartana’s short presentation followed that of key speaker Stuart Etherington, the CEO of the National Council for Voluntary Organizations in England. Aaron Pereira and Jeff Pentland from Vartana spoke about the progress we’re making towards establishing Vartana Bank. Although many were hearing about Vartana for the first time, the audience was engaged and eager to find out more about this project. We thank everyone for their thoughtful questions and interesting feedback. Thanks to Imagine Canada and the Toronto Community Foundation for inviting us to speak at this event. |
